Collection contains graduate program surveys, alumni association materials (e.g. constitution, bylaws, minutes, recipe book, bulletins, reunion photos), Department of Baccalaureate Nursing files and meeting minutes, Department of Nursing reports and minutes, course outlines, faculty minutes, Nightingale lamps, pin pillow, program evaluation reports, employee files (restricted), and student transcripts (restricted).

Abstract Fred Fortess was an authority on the use of fabrics in clothing and a long-time professor at the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Philadelphia University). He worked at the Celanese Fibers Marketing Company for 31 years before joining the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science in 1973 as Director of Apparel Research and head of its School of Textiles. Letters, photographs, newspaper clippings, mimeographed teaching materials and other papers related to Stemler's training at the Jefferson Hospital School of Nursing and to general activities at the hospital, 1947-1950. The collection also includes Stemler's Obstetrical Nursing Care Study (1950) and several printed menus for patients at Jefferson Hospital (1948).

Newspaper clippings, photographs, letters and other papers related to Mrs. Richards' nursing career. The collection also includes a clipping and announcement on the death of W. Parker Runyon at Jefferson Hospital, 1928. Many of the photographs appear to have been made by Dr. Clerf.
