An inaugural essay on camphor presented to the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy for the degree of Graduate in Pharmacy, 1880-1881 session ; accompanied by five supporting letters from preceptor Henry T. Peck (M.D., Jefferson Medical College, 1881) and previous employers.

Lectures introductory to the course in materia medica and pharmacy / materia medica and therapeutics, 1844, 1848, 1850 and 1851; valedictory address, 7 Mar. 1849; and "Notice of the Life and Professional Services of William R. Also, one bound volume of notes, reprints, laboratory records and other materials related to O'Brien's study of bacteriology and parasitology when he was a Captain in the U.S. Army.
