This collection consists of student notes and case studies from Elaine Keiser Carroll's time as a student in Jefferson's Training School for Nurses. The notes are handwritten and occasionally include article reprints, magazine cut-outs, and medical brochures.

The collection also includes Stemler's Obstetrical Nursing Care Study (1950) and several printed menus for patients at Jefferson Hospital (1948).

Newspaper clippings, photographs, letters and other papers related to Mrs. Richards' nursing career. The collection also includes a clipping and announcement on the death of W. Parker Runyon at Jefferson Hospital, 1928. Many of the photographs appear to have been made by Dr. Clerf.
