Alonzo Hamilton Stewart Papers
The bulk of this collection consists of student notes from Stewart's time at Jefferson Medical College and the University of Pennsylvania. There are also notes from his time working in the University of Pennsylvania Lab of Hygiene. The notes and notebooks are organized chronologically when possible, otherwise alphabetically by subject. There are also patient records from Stewart's time at Blockley Hospital, publications by other authors, laboratory correspondence, and several ephemera.

Notebook describing clinical cases examined under Dr. [Thomas D.?] Mitchell; includes 27 pages of medical prescriptions and an enclosed advertisement, in English and German, for "Dr. Barnes' Compound Chinese Balsam."

Also includes a small amount of correspondence, personal impressions of Ezell's internship and other personal papers. Enclosed in vol. 2 are loose research articles by F.J. Putney, M.D., 1940-1948.
