Handwritten notes on two clinical cases (hospital unknown), and thereafter general notes on a variety of medical topics.
Notes on midwifery as taught by William Shippen, 1798, and medical notes based on clinical examinations of Drs. Rush and Physic [sic].
The notes appear to be records of patients treated in a private medical practice, 1866-1870 (possibly by a physician other than Iszard); a separate part of the notebook consists mainly of instructions for preparing various remedies, 1870-1878, many ascribed to Jefferson Medical College faculty. Notebook is signed "Wm. H. Iszard, Elmer, Salem Co., N.J."
