This collection is made up mostly of correspondence between Rosenberger and JMC Deans Ross V. Patterson and William H. Perkins. It also contains publications, ephemera related to the Alumni dinner celebrating Rosenberger's 50 years of service at JMC, newspaper clippings about his stolen Stradivarius, and biographical material.

Biographical / Historical

Randle Crater Rosenberger, aka "Rosy" or "Rosie," was born March 4, 1873 in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1894 and began teaching there the same year. Over the years he would hold many different positions at Jefferson, his final being Professor of Bacteriology and Immunology. He died February 21, 1944.
