Nine letters by W. R. Howe while a student at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, to his fiancee Margaret Leiby, 1854-1856; and two letters by Margaret Glanding Rupp, York, Pa., to Dr. E. J. G. Beardsley and Mr. Wilson of Jefferson Medical College, Sept. 1847, concerning the donation of her grandmother's letters to the College. Also included is a typed document summarizing the genealogy of the Howe-Leiby-Glanding-Rupp families.
